LOST!

If any one has been wondering what I have been up to this last month,i will tell you. I watched seasons 1-5 of Lost. 103 episodes. 78 hours. 3 days. 1/3 of the month of january. If that is not an accomplishment, i'm not quite sure what is. And now season six has started! and i'm in love with it. and so are my roommates. we made t-shirts.

"I'm Here" trailer

I thought this was cute. Spike Jones, partnering with Absolut Vodka and TBWA/Chiat/Day (an advertising agency), created a short film called "I'm Here". It's a 30-minute tale of two robots in love and it's debuting tonight at the Sundance Film Festival. Here's the cute little trailer.

this winter..

This winter I am going to try to not complain so much about the cold weather. It will be hard, but i'm hoping if i don't even acknowledge the cold that it will somehow be better. I'll let you know how it goes.

Christmas break was fun. I got to spend time with my family and friends in arkansas and talk to my brother who is on a mission on christmas day. Then I flew out to san diego for my friend's wedding, and then i went up to huntington beach to stay with my roommate for a few days. Here's some pics:

the upcoming week

Next week is going to be glorious! Mostly because of the whole no school thing, but also bc i have big plans. I'm staying in Utah for thanksgiving and going to my uncles for thanksgiving and so i will have tons of free time. here are some of my big plans:

• clean and organize my apartment (i am weirdly excited about this)
• paint-- a project i wanted to start a few months ago, but haven't had time
• read, read, read (i went to DI today and got about 6 books)
• catch up on school work (not really fun, but whatever)
• watch lots of movies and tv

those are the plans so far. not much, but it will keep me busy. hooray for holidays!!

The Hunger Games was great. I highly recommend it. Quick, good read. Just started c&p, but so far, so good!
